Efendy is owned and operated by Somer Sivrioglu. Somer is an award winning and highly competent hands on restaurateur. He has successfully launched, expanded and driven high profile restaurants, achieving outstanding results all around the world.
In 1995, Somer decided to call Australia home and advanced his career in building and improving new restaurant concepts. Using his extensive practical experience coupled with his studies, Somer has now followed his dream to create a modern Turkish concept – unique to Australian dining.
Efendy cuisine is inspired by blend of classic Ottoman and new Istanbul cuisine recipes adapted by Somer and a group of young and talented Turkish chefs
